Career Counseling

Career counseling is a process by which one comes to better understand their strengths and preferences regarding the area of work. The PSC is staffed with clinicians who are trained to help SGU students and employees with questions and concerns they might have about career choices including:

  • Exploring strengths, interests and preferences
  • Considering options and choosing a first job
  • Transitioning to a second career
  • Improving job satisfaction
  • Preparing for interviews
  • Determining an educational path that matches career interest
  • Exploring self-efficacy and improving self-confidence about career choice
  • Identifying useful experiences in preparation for a career

We offer the following Career Counseling services at present. More will be added in the near future.
